Andy

from €39.00

Andy didn’t invent Pop-art but he owned it.

How I would have loved to have been a factory visitor (or even a fly on the wall) and to hang with Eddie, Jean-Michel and Andy.

This portrait is inspired by a series of art works that Andy Warhole created known as fright hair. It is a set of simple self portraits taken using Polaroids, while wearing this incredible wig.

It is work that is stark and raw, purposefully shocking, but that to me was Andy’s greatest talent, hiding himself out in the open.
